Kastel Stafilic

Kaštela is the name for the seven smaller sites connected along bay. These are: Stafilic, Novi, Stari, Luksic, Kambelovac, Gomilica and Sucurac. Everyone this village, located around its fortress or castle, wearing their distinctive historical story of beauty and nature and traditions of the Mediterranean climate.

Located in central Dalmatia, at the foot of the mountain Kozjak, Trogir in the immediate vicinity of the biggest Dalmatian town of Split, near Trogir, city under UNESCO protection. With 17 km of the Dalmatian coast, where they built Trogir, offers a breathtaking view of the peninsula Marjan and island Ciovo, the southern border of the Bay.

Kastel Stafilic village is part of the city castle and is one of the seven Kastela Dalmatian in a row at the Kaštela bay. It is located at the very end of the row, to Trogir. According to the 2001 census, had a population of 2,650. Nearby is one of the larger hotels in Kastela, place is the biggest tourist center with sandy and rocky beaches.
